Greek kitties and their foibles...

So. I have this drawer in the bench in our bedroom, and in it I keep the cats, er, wardrobe of silly crocheted hats and such. Well, Honey likes to stick her paw in and fish things out. This morning she fished out a tie-dyed shirt...

...so...

...I made her put it on! Baaahahaha! She does rock the tie-dye!
And oh look, it's a barn cat...

Well, not really. Annuk really was never meant to be a barn cat. I had planned to adopt her out after brining her home from Greece. But she and Archie are still here and last night Annuk slept in Gordon's armpit.

And in fact, she's snuggled up next to me on the bed as I type this.

Sigh.

Meanwhile, Daisy has found a place she loves to sleep during the day!

The ATV, aka the Bee-mobile! Apparently I woke her up from a nap.

Aaaand I watch the last grains of my sanity slip through the hourglass! Never mind the Duggars, *I* should have a reality show called "Fifteen Cats and Counting!"

  1. I'll bet that hot seat feels just like sinking my sore back into a hot car seat on a summer day. Heaven.

Even if you had "Fifty Cats and Counting" you'd still be more sane than the Duggars! People weren't meant to have litters. :)

    1. Okay, that made me laugh out loud. And also I feel really good now, because you're right, I AM saner than them! And I adopted all my babies!!

  5. Have you ever thought about offering tours or overnights? It would be like Disney World for me.

  6. Ha ha it is meant to be. I rescued a feral family... In September and mom and dad are outside spoiled kitties and the three kittens are still here! It happens....so we love animals and have big hearts.

  7. Loving animals and having a big heart kind of go together. We all do our part in the world. This is yours... how wonderful for all your rescues!

  8. just as long as your "15 cats and counting" doesn't turn into an episode of "Hoarders"

I really wish I could have brought Archie and Annuk home, but they do look quite happy.

  9. "Foster Failure" is what comes to mind...you didn't really think you'd adopt out all of those cats, did you?

Honey is so mellow to wear a tie-dye shirt! Just think of Daisy as the bee snoopervisor :)

  10. So as well as treating the kitties nicely, you have a book on the tractor seat. I can just see you driving the tractor and reading your book.
