I. Am. CANADIAN!

Yep! It was  0C/32F and snowing, and I stood there for two minutes while Gordon took post-running pics, so that I could impress my American friend Maureen who wears shorts well into November. :)

I. Am. CANADIAN!!!
Or just insane. Or both.

I'm off to write Christmas cards. Yes, they are veryveryvery late this year.

We got most of the snow in this pic today. We've had every kind of precipitation today: rain, freezing rain, slushy crap falling from the sky, and yes, thank goodness, SNOW! I honestly far prefer snow to the rest of that mess.

Stay warm out there. (Speaking of running, The G-man and I are up to 42 minutes non-stop running. I'm aiming for an hour!)

  1. 42 minutes of running!?! That alone qualifies you for the rubber room! I'm envious. How did you do it?

  2. Great for you being that proud Canadian! Shorts in winter and in front of Tim Hortons!
Your running is great. I ran until last year. I was feeling a jolt in my back as I an. I miss it and you sure get out of shape in a hurry.

  3. Dearest friend, the lovely package arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to tear into it. The soap is amazing and I can't wait to make English muffins on Thursday for my grandson and drizzle some over them; he'll be in heaven! In this world that is so turned upside down now with tragedy, I am grateful each day for friends like you that have come into my life...crazy and all! Happy Holidays to you and your family, XOXO

  4. You're mad; stop all that running at once, it shakes your insides until they turn to mush. As for the snow; keep well away' it freezes feet!

  5. School thought I was Canadian once, but they re-tested me and it turned out that I was just on drugs, so that was that.

  7. Do you remember a song called "I'm a Canadian and I'm O.K."? It might have been done on American TV's "Saturday Night Live" some years ago. I'll see if I can find it on YouTube. Yes, you are ok, more than ok.

  9. Oh my god. I'm sitting at my desk in the 'warm' and I've still just had to go and get a fleece.

  13. I gave up on my running. I reached the goal of 30 minutes, but I hated every second of it!
