Lazing about

I have more Mexico pics coming, but first we have...

...animals lazing about! My friends' three horses were lying on their sides soaking up the sun yesterday.

This morning, Alex and Naomi were lazing about, rendering it impossible for me to make the bed.

Then Emily wanted to get in on the fun!

No way, José. Or Josée!

So off she went in search of other mischief..

Oh yes, the bedroom blinds.

Her favourite toy! Fortunately they have those "child-safe" pulls.

Now what are you doing, Emily?

Oh. I see.

Alex and Naomi are unimpressed!

  3. She is so much like Audrey. She still likes to climb the curtains if there is a lady bug to catch. Emily's markings are so extraordinary. Love the horse pic. You don't see that very often.

  4. I once worked at a sanctuary with rescue horses..the joke was that if they could lie on the ground, and do a complete roll, then they were worth $100....So, $300 worth there then!!

    1. That's hilarious! I always worry when I see them like that, but apparently they like to snooze in the sun.

  6. I have to ask - is that a shirt that says "real men love cats"? Because I have got to get one for Dave if it is!

  7. Every time I see A&N cuddled up in this way I melt! If that is not love, I don't know what is. Emily is so pretty - I love that kind of patterns on her fur.
And the 3 horses lazing around? What a precious sight!

  9. Always worries me when I see horses flat on their sides - makes me want to go over and poke them with a stick, just to check!

  17. Cute kitten... and friends. The sleepy kitties make for a good excuse to put off bed making... no cat here... my excuse is that I need to let the bedding air.
