The things you can do with a giant yellow zucchini!

My friend Brian was, I think, asking about these garden-produce creations from 1999. Hmmm, this photo was taken before I ripped down that godforsaken hearts-and-flowers wallpaper in the kitchen. We are always buying houses with cutesy wallpaper!

Note the celery leaf "fig leaf!"

I can't believe ten years have passed. But I'm still making creatures out of vegetables!

I love them! Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eatin'---Sympathize on the wallpaper. We had a lot of the stuff in this house but it was stuck tight, so my husband used joint compound over it like plaster and now we have lovely textured walls that were easily painted. I say easily because he did the painting--ha!

  3. That girl zucchini reminds me of that creative table lamp you had in that Cambodian hotel room! ;o)

  4. Didn't we see those guys in 'The Nightmare before Christmas'?

Just kidding. Would love to be half as creative.

  5. TTPP, wallpaper, UGH!!! I like your husband's method. I've been slowly stripping ours, but the plaster walls underneath all need repairing so we're doing it on the installment plan. :)

Brian, it amazes me that you remember these creatures from a decade ago!

And Sue, I see the resemblance.

James, I loved "The Nightmare Before Christmas" so there was probably some subconscious influence there at the very least!
