Another cakely thing of beauty!

Yesterday Ronna and Richard invited a few of us over for a barbecue and it was great fun. And hooray, Ronna made another one of her fabulous cakes:

A watermelon cake with some boring real watermelon!

The "seeds" are sliced chocolate-covered raisins!

Zzzzzzzzz...

More exciting!!

Aren't I lucky to have a multi-talented friend like Ronna?

Ronna the Cake Queen!

Gordon and Sigrun break open the Sprinkle Party Cake ice cream.

Pretty AND delicious!

Summer rocks!

  5. I don't like eating watermelon but I LOVE how they look. So graphic. And I was upset that I made the pink too light but that lovely husband of yours consoled me and told me that I had made the ultimate image of what we all thought watermelon was SUPPOSED to look like!
Funny that the "real" watermelon was seedless. The beauty of watermelon is how those dark seeds look against that lovely pink...but I digress....
