Whole lotta Louise!

Louise is appalled that I have not featured her prominently on the blog lately! So here you go, Louise...

"I have stolen Emily's spot on the counter over the dishwasher. It's nice and warm!"

"I like to wash my nether regions right next to the espresso maker that Daddy still quite hasn't figured out how to use properly. "

"I'll just keep grooming until a real barista shows up!"

"I am inordinately fond of Mummy's office chair. It used to be black. Now it is completely speckled with MY LUXURIOUS FUR! All nicely embedded in the fabric, so even the good lint roller brush doesn't get it out. Plus Mummy has to spend all her days with her butt perched on the edge of the chair, because I sure won't move!"

"And she won't move me either! Would YOU?!"

"I like this part of the counter too! It's near the warm stove. Sometimes there's food on it. Sometimes I try to steal the food. For some reason, this makes Mummy and Daddy yell at me to get off the counter.:

"Can't imagine why. It's obvious I belong here!"

"Because I am the cutest thing in the house!"

"And everyone knows it! "

"Look at my perfect little paw. All the better to catch cluster flies and Asian ladybugs with. They invade farmhouses at this time of year. Yummy yummy! Mummy gets annoyed with them but they are all tasty protein snack to me."

"And I think my green eyes look beautiful with the kitchen decor!"

"Don't you agree?"

"I have no shame."

"In case you hadn't noticed."

"I am learning all I can about being an excellent grey kitty by following my feline friend Audrey's exploits on the Just Cats blog!

I think Audrey and I are twins who were separated at birth."

Okay Louise. Time to get off that counter!

You know we boyz love us some shameless exhibitionist laydees...when can Louise start dating? Does she like Yank Cats?

  2. Louise looks like the happiest cat on the planet! She hit the adoption jackpot and she knows it. Try packing tape to get the cat hair off your chair. A rubber glove works, too. Of course, it will all be back on there by tomorrow.

  5. Are you allowed to touch her belly when she's rolling about like that? Peno does it all the time, but gives you the look of death if you touch her belly.

    1. The jury's still out on that one!! She seems to like belly rubs a bit, but not as much as Emily and Julius do.

    1. I'm a little worried about those paws when I next visit. I think there were some dangerous feline claws in between those tufts of soft fur, yes?

  8. Louise and Audrey could be twins, for sure. Although Audrey is very jealous of the zipper but does like to show off her white V for victory that shows on her tummy. Carry on, Louise. You are rockin' the house.

    1. I think Louise studies Audrey's antics on the internet while we're in bed!! Yesterday she broke two bowls.

  9. What are you thinking? It's only time to get off the counter when Louise decides it's time! I'm in love. Even I might let her stay on the counter... well, probably not. (And I think I'd bring my own coffee!)

    1. I keep throwing her off, she keeps jumping back on. I need a new method. :)
The coffee is, according to Gordon, improving. He got it right on the third try this morning!

    2. So, essence of cat is a good coffee add-in.

  10. She is the cutest thing! And makes me ashamed that I've just started *getting serious* about keeping the cats (especially Emily who thinks she belongs there) off the counter. If it were just her, I'd probably let it be... but lately some days there are 3 of them up there lying about... and no room to prepare dinner. And I have to admit that I've spent many a day sitting on the front edge of a chair while a cat occupied the rear. But Emily is indeed precious... and it would be hard to say no to her.

    2. It's especially, er, entertaining when there are four cats on the kitchen table. (Julius still has manners and stays off!)

  13. Oh, she's been watching Audrey real closely! She looks as if she's become a part of the family easily and feels right at home. I agree, her gorgeous green eyes go perfectly with your decor:-D XOXO

  14. Louise is a lovely girl and brilliant in her knowledge and practice of "catliness". I once had a cat whose individual hairs would weave themselves into fabric. He's been gone almost three years, but there are still traces of him to be found around the house.

  15. I do agree that those lovely eyes co-ordinate well with the counter decor.

  16. LOL.. oh my God, Louise looks so cute. I love cats and dogs. I have pet one dog, his name is Robo. He loves me very much. But now he is old and lazy. Sometimes it makes me feel bad about him.
