The fun continues!

The streusel-topped raspberry muffins that Rachel and Gordon made were delicioso!

Sophie was VERY interested in the muffins just before they were popped into the oven!

Tristan the doofus assumed his most relaxed pose, right in the middle of all the baking action.

"Where's MY muffin?!" said Alex.

A shot not unlike the one in my last post, with Tristan staying very close, all the better to catch any and all dropped crumbs!

Guess who loves Rachel to distraction? (Note the wagging tail and doggy smile!) Sophie was getting a gentle belly rub.

  1. Great job, Rachel.

Would you mind coming to my place and do a week worth of baking?

  2. I want those muffins! Looks yummy!! :D

  3. How lucky you are to have such a wonderful house guest! Please mail leftover baking our way. :)

  4. Those muffins made my mouth water! Loved Tristan's belly pose - and bet all the animals enjoyed Rachel's visit.

  5. Love the muffins. And I love the kitchen!
And what well behaved and helpful animals they are to make sure no crumb goes undiscovered. Glad you had such a wonderful visit. Thanks for checking in on me.

  6. Rachel, I live close to you! You can come and visit and bake for me anytime. The muffins look soooo good!

  7. I love your kitchen. Those cabinets, that floor, not to mention the wallpaper. So warm and farm housy.
    The muffins look great too!

  8. Willie, I kept her busy making muffins, pumpkin pie, carrot cake and banana bread! THey left on Thursday. :)

  9. The muffins were great! But no leftovers, Michele.

Shelley, the animals are still pining for Rachel. They got so much attention, not to mention treats.

Callie, Rachel (and her three siblings, who came last Sunday - Thurs) were a joy to have around. Such great kids!

SugarCreek, the kitchen was like this when we moved in. The cupboards were redone two years before we bought the place. It's a real country kitchen in a 100-year-old farmhouse.

  10. Genny, she must be right around the corner from you!

Thank you for all your comments, which I love to read!
