Look who made the front page of the local Cornwall paper yesterday!
Yes, me and the piggies!

Todd, a reporter for the Cornwall Standard Freeholder, came by on Friday morning to meet the pigs and do a little story on us! You can read it here.
His editor asked him to do a story on pet pigs, so he called the manager of our shelter to ask if she knew anyone with a pet pig. And of course, she did! :)
I think I may have convinced him to do a story this spring on our blind, geriatric mallard Lenny!
Ophelia, the piglets and I enjoyed our 15 minutes of fame. You can read about how we got Ophelia here. This Thursday marks a year since she came into our lives, pregnant and alone. Now she and her seven buddies are living the good life in their heated pen.
Such cuteness deserves media attention. I'm glad!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I haven't seen a story on the pigs for a long time.
