We spent the past week not in frigid Ontario, but in....
...any guesses?
Anyone?
JAMAICA!! And we picked just about the coldest week of the year to get our butts down there. And we are being welcomed home tomorrow by a -40C windchill and yet another extreme cold warning. Which is why...
...WE DO NOT WANT TO GO HOME!!!!
Walk good, my Jamaican friends! Ophelia misses you deeply! So glad ur having a beautiful, carefree vacation!
ReplyDeleteOK, now we know. Hope you had a good one.
ReplyDeleteOoooooh, good for you! Glad you got a break from the cold and just remember . . . if winter's here can spring be far behind?
ReplyDeleteMakes you wonder - when you've been to paradise, does that make it harder to return to reality, , , ,?
ReplyDeleteWho cares! If you can get away, do it!
I would have volunteered to carry your bags had I known...I'm so kind!

Wow! Amazing place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for you! Enjoy it while you can. But bet your animals will be glad to see you back...
ReplyDeleteYou picked a fine time to leave with all the snow in the fields! Welcome back. You'll get used to it in half an hour or so.
ReplyDeleteStay away, stay away. Your lips will freeze that way if you come back now.
ReplyDeleteOh to bad you cant stay till it gets warmer here eh? Wonderful photos , bring some of that warmth with you please ! Pretty place there ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good weekend !
ReplyDeleteWhat a romantic setting! Jamaica is a much more pleasant place to be, now that arctic air has descended on Canada and the eastern U.S.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought...who takes care of the menagerie? I'm glad you're getting some sunshine since it's been a wicked winter in most parts. Enjoy your time and I love your shorter hair, XOXO
ReplyDeleteMaybe the plane won't start? Maybe?
ReplyDeleteJust think of all those furry faces welcoming you back to pick up after them...er...I mean to their loving ways. Welcome Home although you will hate it here. By Monday, though, things might be better. Just keep the help and stay in bed for two days. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the menagerie will be happy to have you home. Hopefully the warm weather will show up soon...though I must admit it's hard to be hopeful this winter.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a wonderful time!
You two really deserved a vacation in a beautiful warm place. Maybe some of that warm weather will follow you home.
ReplyDeleteToo bad you can't bottle some of that sunshine and warmth and bring it home with you. Maybe even a 3 or 4 bottles. Glad you had a good time, but you know that you miss all the critters waiting for you at home. Stay warm once you get home.
ReplyDeleteLucky you!!! Certain you had a great time!
