Winter wonderland-esque

They said we were going to get a whopping snowstorm today, but some of the precipitation ended up falling as rain, so we didn't get hammered like Ottawa did. Still, we'll be having ourselves a white Christmas, and there's a bit more snow on the way tonight.

My friend Judy made me that little tree from wild grapevines from her farm.

Pretty snowy in the garden!

I took all of these when I went to let the ducks and chickens out this morning.

My footprints to the barn door!

Everything looks so different when it's covered in snow!

Hope you all have a great weekend.

  1. Your place looks picture-card perfect. I took some photos outside today, too. Would you believe it is still snowing here. It started last night and has not stopped. It's that heavy, snow-ball making kind of snow. Enough already!
I didn't know ducks and chickens go out in the snow but I guess they would..Canadian ones, anyway.

  3. You had just the right amount of moisture for the snow to stick on the trees and make it pretty for you.
I have been seeing other Ont. pictures with snow.

  5. I'm afraid the only way I really appreciate snow, is on a Christmas card. Or, of course, on your blog!

  7. It's not looking like a white Christmas in my part of Ontario. You farm looks absolutely beautiful in it's cloak of white!
