Clean-up on aisle three!

After a bath, it's always important to groom and dry yourself!

Be careful not to miss any spots!

Especially those junior tail feathers.

Make sure everything is neat and clean.

Meet up with your brothers and sisters...

...then it's time for a nap with Mama!

With a curious chicken keeping watch.

  3. I never cease to be amazed at how immediately after hatching, they know everything they need to know to be a duck. My kids had to be taught how to "clean their tail feathers"!

    1. Pretty amazing, aren't they? And fearless, although I think they could do with being a bit more fearful!!! Sometimes they are a little too bold, hence all my duckling near-death experiences last summer.

  6. I think I was born retarded! After so many years, I'm still having trouble to prim myself after a bath....Those duckies are so smart!

  10. What soft, lovely colors! I wonder if Benjamin Moore has a baby duckling yellow.

    1. I wouldn't mind being a duckling for a day, so long as I was in a predator-proof pen!
