As per request, some cats!

Dear reader Eileen expressed a longing for some cat photos the other day, so I am here to oblige!

My purse fell on the floor the other and it took Daisy approximately ten seconds to crawl inside.

Meanwhile I never get to sit in my new office chair...

...but sisters Daisy and Honey from Greece quite like it!

Emerson was outside sunbathing with the chickens the other day!

And can you spot the kitty in this picture? I think she was hiding from the cleaning lady...

I turned this bowl on its side the other day, and Annuk decided it would make a great bed.

She stayed there for hours.

And what might Buttercup be looking down on?

Yep, goats.

Luc tried to make friends... I think he actually succeeded.

And now, the non-cat section of this blog post...

We have been renovating our old granary with new siding, windows and roof. Downstairs will be my new honey house, upstairs a studio space. Tristan loves Luc, the man doing all our work for us. Luc brings him crullers from Tim  Hortons. Yesterday Tristan returned the favour by knocking over Luc's Ice Capp from Tim Hortons!! Naughty dog.

Here he is, being an apprentice carpenter and holding up a hemlock plank! :)

And spring has definitely sprung... the ponies and donkey are shedding like crazy. After I brushed them the other day, Esme and Finney started grooming each other...

...and Finney got a mouthful of fur as his reward!

Have a wonderful weekend.

  5. Horses are shedding pretty hard here, too. I often end up with fur in my mouth, but it's unintentional.

  9. That's a pretty fancy old granary. You're making good use of an old building.

  10. I wouldn't be able to evict those sweet kitties from your office chair either. We only have one inside cat but the amount of hair I vacuum up every week is unbelievable. I could concoct several toupees for Donald Trump, if he didn't mind having black/gray hair. :)
