As per request, some cats!

Dear reader Eileen expressed a longing for some cat photos the other day, so I am here to oblige!

My purse fell on the floor the other and it took Daisy approximately ten seconds to crawl inside.

Meanwhile I never get to sit in my new office chair...

...but sisters Daisy and Honey from Greece quite like it!

Emerson was outside sunbathing with the chickens the other day!

And can you spot the kitty in this picture? I think she was hiding from the cleaning lady...

I turned this bowl on its side the other day, and Annuk decided it would make a great bed.

She stayed there for hours.

And what might Buttercup be looking down on?

Yep, goats.

Luc tried to make friends... I think he actually succeeded.

And now, the non-cat section of this blog post...

We have been renovating our old granary with new siding, windows and roof. Downstairs will be my new honey house, upstairs a studio space. Tristan loves Luc, the man doing all our work for us. Luc brings him crullers from Tim  Hortons. Yesterday Tristan returned the favour by knocking over Luc's Ice Capp from Tim Hortons!! Naughty dog.

Here he is, being an apprentice carpenter and holding up a hemlock plank! :)

And spring has definitely sprung... the ponies and donkey are shedding like crazy. After I brushed them the other day, Esme and Finney started grooming each other...

...and Finney got a mouthful of fur as his reward!

Have a wonderful weekend.

  3. Thank you! I love all the animals, but I have to admit cats are my faves. Love the cat in the bowl...almost as good as a box. The photo of Buttercup with Luc the goat is just adorable!

  4. Lovely photos . It is spring here to , no snow left ant where for over two weeks now warm temps and spring rains with sunshine on and off spring flowers are emerging from the ground in my gardens and spring birds and critters are back and about . Thanks for sharing , have a good weekend !

  5. Horses are shedding pretty hard here, too. I often end up with fur in my mouth, but it's unintentional.

  6. So many beautiful creatures. Your menagerie of animals always makes me happy.

  7. Adorable cat photos! These make my happy! Love the kitty in the bowl on top of the cabinets! Cats, gotta love em!!

  8. my oh my...all of these photos make me wish that I could have at least one cat, at least one goat and at least one dog...your life is so rich with all of these precious creatures...

  9. That's a pretty fancy old granary. You're making good use of an old building.

  10. I wouldn't be able to evict those sweet kitties from your office chair either. We only have one inside cat but the amount of hair I vacuum up every week is unbelievable. I could concoct several toupees for Donald Trump, if he didn't mind having black/gray hair. :)

  11. Love your pics! Your animals look so happy. You must be doing an excellent job caring for them. Love the pic of the kitty on top of the kitchen cabinets. We have one that likes to go up there also.

  12. I love ALL of your animal photos! You really need to make a book of them xoxo catchatwithcarenandcody

  13. How are the original kitties doing? Miss seeing Naomi, Alex & Louise.

  15. You and your family always make my day better! But I can't believe you still call that chair "my new office chair." It's "the cats' new office chair." Get it?!? Got it?!? Good!!!

  16. that is one awesome cat chair in your office ;)

And bowls do make very good beds
