After a bath, it's always important to groom and dry yourself!
Be careful not to miss any spots!
Especially those junior tail feathers.
Make sure everything is neat and clean.
Meet up with your brothers and sisters...
...then it's time for a nap with Mama!
With a curious chicken keeping watch.
Adorable pictures!

Look at those itty bitty pin fevvers!!!
ReplyDeleteSQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those tail feather-lets KILL ME! :)
DeleteI never cease to be amazed at how immediately after hatching, they know everything they need to know to be a duck. My kids had to be taught how to "clean their tail feathers"!
ReplyDeletePretty amazing, aren't they? And fearless, although I think they could do with being a bit more fearful!!! Sometimes they are a little too bold, hence all my duckling near-death experiences last summer.
DeleteI'm not sure if my heart can handle any more of these cuties' pictures, but keep them coming :) Love the tiny feathery tail ♥
ReplyDeleteSweet mamma and sweet duckies!
ReplyDeleteI think I was born retarded! After so many years, I'm still having trouble to prim myself after a bath....Those duckies are so smart!
ReplyDeleteAren't they though?!
DeleteI especially like the one with just the legs showing under Mama Duck.
ReplyDeleteIt is so cute the way they all tuck up under her for a nap!
DeleteOh, they're cute now but you just wait until these ducklings become teenagers ...
ReplyDeleteTHat's when they do the majority of their death-defying feats!
DeleteAw, look at those tiny wings!
ReplyDeleteAnd when they grow up, those wings get to be amazingly strong!
DeleteWhat soft, lovely colors! I wonder if Benjamin Moore has a baby duckling yellow.
ReplyDeleteA clean duck is a happy duck!
ReplyDeleteThey are quite fastidious, right from the get-go.
DeleteAhhh - what a life - bathing, grooming, napping - and being so darn CUTE!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind being a duckling for a day, so long as I was in a predator-proof pen!
