For those of you out there who are tired of kitten posts, I bring you...
... White-breasted Nuthatch hanging motionless and upside-down in a wee snow storm.
He was like this for a least a minute.
Then FLOOP! Upright and chowing down again.
Now back to our regularly-scheduled kitten...
Emily squirms a lot!
Kitten in constant motion!
But eventually she needs a rest. We have been snuggling with her on the couch after supper every night, which seems to be her quiet time.
Awake...
...asleep! Zzzzzzz...
Somebody is completely smitten with his kitten!
I predict that this tiny beast will soon be bossing around everybody in our house, dogs and cats included. You mark my words.
Nope, she's not spoiled AT ALL. What do the other felines think of her?

ReplyDeleteYou get such a nice variety of birds. We feed a lot of common sparrows around here. They chase off the chickadees. A couple of weeks ago we saw a downy woodpecker. That was a first and I wish it would have stuck around -- probably migrating though (I'm guessing).
