Look who it is!
"Enough of all these damn piglet photos! What about ME? Put my photo up there!"
Yes, Emerson, you are VERY adorable.
"That's better, then."
Adorable, even though he woke me up twice last night, suckling on my fingers!
"I don't know what you're talking about. Pens iz the bestest toys!"
Yes, Emerson suckles like a baby. I've read various explanations for this, one of which is that it happens when kittens are taken from their mother too early. Anyway, it makes him happy so I offer him my pinky. But last night he jumped on the bed and latched onto a finger while I was asleep. I awoke to the sound of contented slurping. :P
"Pen pen pen!"
He's so sweet. It boggles my mind that anyone could dump this cutie.
We love him to bits and he fits in so well here. And no spraying issues at all since his neutering!
All the girl cats have put on a show of hissing and swatting, but I think they're all smitten. Naomi seems to have taken Emerson under her wing at las, and he runs around the house with Louise like they're brother and sister. Emily gave him a scratch on his nose after he first arrived but now she's settled down now. She likes to put on a show of acting like she's boss cat.
I still can't believe we now have six felines!
It's a slippery slope...and one short step to THIRTEEN like us! Emerson is such a doll...you'll have to check the bags of everybody that visits to make sure he's not smuggled out! SMOOCH that boy for me...
ReplyDeleteWhat a face, Natalie. I would have taken him in, too. I have been trying to help find a home for a male at a local sanctuary and it wouldn't surprise me to end up bringing him home. There are just so darn many that need help.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you at, now? Six cats, six piggies, and assorted other wild life?
ReplyDeleteYou do seem to do things in a big way!
(And yes, Emerson is adorable. But then I'm a sucker for ginger cats.)
Oooh, can't get enough of him! I would give him a good neck-huffing if I could.
ReplyDeleteTabbies Rock!
ReplyDeleteI for one am very glad you have 6 cats. It's makes me seem sane with only 4. He is a sweetie and probably worth never being able to find a pen in your house again!
ReplyDeleteHe is a beauty. I've had six cats at once, and a great big standard collie. I used to find them all asleep, snuggling into the collie's long, long hair.
ReplyDeleteOh my... he´s a beautiful boy!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou won't have six felines for long because I'm driving up to steal him! He's just too darn cute
ReplyDeleteAnd somebody probably dumped him because of the spraying - couldn't be bothered to spend the money on a simple fix! It's sad - but he's obviously where he's meant to be.
Give thanks that it was only your pinkie that he latched onto while you slept, rather than the real deal...
ReplyDeleteWrap up well.
You need a LOVE button I can click! I'm glad he found you.
ReplyDeleteEmerson needs a binky!
ReplyDeleteHe and your photos are beyond belief. You take in sweet animals that all become irresistible in your tender loving care. (Just look what you've done with Gordon!)
ReplyDeleteOh he's so cute, just love him.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Such a handsome fellow! Emerson was lucky to find you.
ReplyDeleteDutch and Herman are getting jealous. They would like to live at your place, too.
ReplyDeleteMy grandson would love your 6 felines. He told me I need to add a few more when we move to our new home! Emerson is gorgeous and I think he knows it! XOXO
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable :-) I also see that he is in charge ;-)
ReplyDeleteA really handsome lad. And lucky to boot.
ReplyDeleteHe's gorgeous!
