We got away for three nights to New York City, and look what happens!
Our little BABIES are turning into ducks!!! I'm sure this one is a boy. I'm hoping none of the others are.
I love this little brown girl.
The chicks are growing like weeds too!
And I turn my back for a weekend, and what happens?
Marcia goes broody! LIke I need more ducklings. But she's only sitting on three eggs so I might just let her be.
New York pics soon!
That's how it is when boys are with girls alone. Boys will be boys and girls will be girls! Anyway more adorable, fresh made, ducklings to come.
ReplyDeleteHow did they get so big so fast? I guess 'time flies' for them, too. More ducks, yah!
ReplyDeleteHey you're micro-managing these critters. Let them have some freedom! When I stop and think about it, people would be much better off to have a serious experience with animals. I look at how happy and excited you are with these critters and I think of all the people who could benefit with looking after some animals.
ReplyDeleteRed, I'm one of those helicopter parents! ;)
DeleteNo way!!!!! they most certainly look like teenagers now!
ReplyDeleteGangly little things!
DeleteOh, they grow up so fast! The first one is at that awkward stage. The little brown girl is already a beauty. And the chicks! Can't wait for New York Stories.
ReplyDeleteTHat little brown one is my fav but don't tell the others!
DeleteI love the 'knowing' look in the first pic.
ReplyDeleteTHey are good at that look!!
DeleteAh, they're so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI could look at them all day!
DeleteThere's a line in Bernstein's Broadway show "Candide." The character of The Old Lady (Polish) says, "Leaf you a-lone for fife minoutz!" Seems a propos.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, they are all so big! I can't believe it.
ReplyDeleteI know! They grow incredibly fast!
DeleteToo cute!
ReplyDeleteThey are growing up... so sweet. That little brown girl duck is really cute.
ReplyDeleteOh this lovely embarras de richesses re certain festivities . . . : )
ReplyDeleteThey all are beautiful, but I still think Emma the hen is especially distinguished.
ReplyDeleteLittle brown girl is adorable and the chicks too. Your posts always make me smile.
