Your photograph took so long to load I decided you must have woken to a white-out...then graaaduaaaally the photo appeared. I reckon you'll be using those snowshoes before long!
What a stunning scene....lucky you! Those barns are gorgeous!! Ahh...snow is a fact of life for us northerners. I kind of enjoy it! Actually, if it is cold then I really do prefer to have snow.
It's beautiful, but I'm cold just looking at it! We have a sunshine day to relish before the rain comes back. I'll be locked away in my studio until I get all the projects done this week, so who cares what it's doing outside:-D
I really don't mind winter except I feel so sorry for all the animals that must suffer through it. During blizzards I often lie awake worrying about the creatures huddled up against the wind and snow and I drive myself crazy!
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who does that. THe worst was last January, when tiny Emily kitten showed up and I could NOT catch her, and it was below -20C outside. I did not sleep well that night! So glad we caught her in the morning.
It is good that the snow is finally here and winter can begin so we can get on with it and look forward to it soon being over. It sure took a long time to get snowy in this part of Canada - maybe we will have a short winter.
Things will return to normal by April. Hold on, that's not really such a comforting thought after all.
ReplyDeleteBRING ON THE TOBAGO PICS!!!

Now now. Snow doesn't suck your brains out and make you smell like a corpse. Much.
