Okay, standard disclaimer: I hate this freaking wallpaper. One day it will be gone...
I had three cats littering my work table the other day (which was a pigsty to being with!)
Julius checks out Emily checking out me!
Things then got REALLY kitty congested...
Emily loves nothing more than to jump on Naomi and wrap her paws around her neck. Naomi is tolerant of but not exactly enthralled by this behaviour.
"I'll just slip right under that little monster!"
Julius likes to watch. Ahem.
Emily gives Naomi a little pat on the rump to send her on her way.
Then Emily and Julius look with alarm at Naomi's butt. Perhaps she just let off an odiferous gas bomb!
Emily really wants to knock Julius around the way she does with Naomi, but he is having none of it.
I cleaned up my table after his....
What you can't see is the two dogs on the floor. I vacuum in here A LOT.
Yes, I'll bet you do. My vacuum is never put away and I could still vacuum more. Why do we do this to ourselves????
ReplyDeleteSo we're not thigh-deep in pet hair? ;)
DeleteYour nasty wallpaper is quite restrained compared to the sickly tacky rose paper that hngs in our dining room!
ReplyDeleteJane x
Oh dear, I have some ugly rose paper in our guest room. I feel your pain.
DeleteI just love your pictures. Typical cat's they take all the space and jump and pull things away.

THey are such hogs!!
DeleteI can't believe the plants survived! We only put away our vacuums if we are having company.
ReplyDeleteI'm not convinced the plants will survive the kitten!
DeleteNow that is a desk I approve of!
ReplyDeleteBecause of the cats, or the mess?
DeleteActually, your cats are well behaved. My plants never survived my two cats, Double and Trouble. And they gnawed some of my music books, dried flowers, my straw Easter hat, and what else....Everyday, I had to decide that I loved my cats more than I loved my things! Julius is such a quiet fellow. In my old age, I would enjoy him as a companion.
ReplyDeleteHe would probably prefer to live with you than with all these other annoying cats and dogs!! Emily has been really good and so far has only broken one flower pot.
DeleteThat looks like my bed at bed time!
ReplyDeleteI am getting used to three cats on my bed at once....let's see if Julius can get on the bed and make it four sometime! He usually doesn't come up if the others are on the bed.
DeleteLots of kitty comments already, so I'll just empathize with your wallpaper pain. We're peeling off the last of ours (what WERE we thinking twenty years ago?) and replacing it with those Pottery Barn colors HGTV dictates. I really don't see why tastes have to change, do you?
ReplyDeleteWallpaper SUCKS!!!!! But it's a good thing tastes change or I'd still have happy-face wallpaper and orange broadloom in my bedroom.
