Suited up and ready for action. I assure you that this is the only kind of smoking I'll ever do!

I have a gift for standing downwind of the smoker that results in coughing fits and me smelling like a forest fire for the rest of the day.

Veil on, ready to go. I was just doing a quick check of my two hives to see how things were going and whether they needed new boxes yet (not yet, but soon!)

The honeybees LOVE the flowers on my sage plants. Catmint is probably their next favourite thing in my garden.
Ooooh! You keep bees! Home made honey FTW!!!
ReplyDeleteAh, perhaps I can smuggle some to you when we next visit Sri Lanka (hopefully 2014, if not sooner!)
ReplyDeleteAh I bet it is worth smelling like a barbeque if delicious home made honey is the result
ReplyDeleteJams, I am hopeful I will get honey off one of the hives this year. My mentor thinks I will!
