This is Honey, our failed barn cat. She hails from Syros, Greece, along with her sisters Buttercup and Daisy. Honey is a big fan of mittens, gloves, socks, and heat vents.
Here she is having pushed my mitt dryer right off the vent.
And here she is having her way with my mitten. She often steals them (and socks and gloves) and drags them around the house!
She looks quite pleased with herself, don't you think?
I have to say, she is the sweetest cat ever! If you'd like a Syros cat of your own, read my last post. I'll have some up for adoption in April!
so cute - love her taking FULL advantage of the vent :)
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this breed, but you're right, she is the sweetest! I'm finally getting use to the extra 3 we adopted; they've become a part of our family and our Rosie is even tolerating them more.
ReplyDeleteSusan, Syros is the island in Greece Honey is from. :) She's just a cute little tabby girl.
DeleteShe is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love that second photo.. priceless.
ReplyDeleteLove that second photo. Why live in a barn when you can have a cozy vent and mittens to beat up?
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, Emerson wants to spend all his time in the barn instead of the house. Go figure!
DeleteCats love wool. In his younger days Toby would snatch a wool sock, run through the house and up to my granddaughter's bedroom, where he added it to his stash under her bed. Now that he is a mature old man of four come Mother's Day, no more such shenanigans.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute!! I'm surprised he grew out of it!
DeleteHoney looks so sweet and lovable. I love that second picture too. Oh if only my husband would agree to one more cat, I would love a cat from Greece. I know better than to even ask. :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband now says yes before I even ask... I wore him down over the years! LOL
DeleteShe's just trying to be very helpful.
ReplyDeleteHahaha I see that!!
DeleteOh my what a show off lol and a cutie lol ! Lovely photos ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha she is adorable!! We have one kitty that loves the vent too.. :)
ReplyDeleteI feel that way about heat vents too. ~Ernie
ReplyDeleteYou're a smart kitty, Ernie!
DeleteThat middle pic just kills me. I wish I could have another kitty - I might just come steal Honey!
ReplyDeleteShe is pretty special!
DeleteI adore her, she knows what she wants and she gets it!
ReplyDeleteShe does indeed look quite pleased. Beautiful photos. :)
ReplyDeleteFunny how some cats love the heat vents. Saku used to steal my daughter's socks but since I gave him a blanket of his own, he leaves those items alone. Leather gloves on the other hand (no pun intended) are never safe.
ReplyDeleteHoney is a perfect name for her, she's such a sweet girl!
Such sweet photos :)))
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful cat! I love her colour too, unusual to see a ginger female, even a pale one like her. So glad that you rescued her. I'd love one of your cats, but one of our cats is a very grumpy old Maine Coonish cat who does not believe he is a cat and dislikes all other cats.
ReplyDeleteThat's okay, not all kitties want a feline friend! I'm lucky ours get along as well as they do!
DeleteShe is adorable and that second photo is priceless. Wish we could take in more cats!
ReplyDeleteOh, that Honey! Such a vixen... :)
