My Greek girls!

My three little Greek transplants are adjusting to winter remarkably well!

Not that it's technically winter yet.

Honey boldly ventured out (cat door is held open with clothespins because not everybody gets the concept of pushing the door open yet!)

No fear! But Buttercup needed to think about it a little longer.

Hello, beautiful!

Wait, you can't go back in! You just came out!

Daisy was saying something to me.

Aren't these three gorgeous? And they have personalities to match!

Buttercup was channelling her inner meerkay.

And I think she smelled something interesting!

Yes, these Greek girls are fitting in VERY nicely!

  2. They really are gorgeous girls! I'm so amazed they'll tolerate the cold. My babies are all warm weather kitties who wouldn't ever even set a toe I snow.

  6. Aww, Natalie, they are GORGEOUS!!! And that's of course Honey in a nutshell to be bold and first :-) They look remarkably well adapted and happy! The images are so sweet... I love the one where Buttercup is channeling her inner meerkat but in the second image (with her eyes closed) I think her butt has simply frozen stuck to the ground ;-) Sweet! XOXO

  8. Oh your three kitties are adorable. And Buttercup does look like a meerkat. I love the way the other two are watching what she's watching. Great that they acclimatized. I'mm not sure how we're going to get the Tanzanian Trio here in our home to take to the South African winters one day when we go home. Have a great day. Jo (East Africa)

  10. They're adjusting better to winter than I am. LOL. At least we've had a few mild days and so a lot of the snow we got last week is gone.

Purrs from my two to your entire crew!

  12. Showing a cat how to use the door always was a challenge. I put something they really wanted on the outside. After that, returning was not a problem. But, what does a cat really want? And, you have so many.

  17. "Not technically Winter"? As far as the sun is concerned MIDwinter day is the 21st of December, and if Winter is not December, January & February, that would mean part of March would have to be Winter. March? Winter? Nah. Tis true the weather lags a little behind the light, but December, January & February - that's Winter.

I know some people claim midwinter day is the start of winter, just as they claim midsummer day is the start of summer, but they're nuts.
