We are all heartily sick of winter. But Julius enjoyed his day parole the other day!
He had to take his escort with him (me!)
At 14, he is still handsome and fluffalicious.
He's ahead over towards the dried-out patch of catnip he remembers is behind the garage!
It was -20C when I got up today (better than the -26C it was yesterday!) but tomorrow we're heading off to Sri Lanka and HOT WEATHER!!! Maybe when I get back, the snow will have melted. Or maybe we'll just fly home to a spring blizzard!
Julius looks just like my boys when they get out - just so happy!
ReplyDeleteThey all know it's spring, or that it's SUPPOSED to be spring!
DeleteJulius looks amazing! Have the best of trips to Sri Lanka!
ReplyDeleteJulius is gorgeous! Love his close-up.
ReplyDeleteAnd have a wonderful trip.
Thanks Marty! Julius is a good old boy. :)
DeleteSoak up all their hot sun and come back and shed it for us. Beautiful kitty. Enjoy your trip.
ReplyDeleteWill do, Joanne! Thank you!

I am sitting in my beach chalet in Tangalle, thinking of you Jane! :)

ReplyDeleteAnd we missed yet another dump of snow yesterday. 15cm more!!

ReplyDeleteI posted some pics today! :)
DeleteHave a great trip! Bring warm weather back with you!
ReplyDeleteI will!! I heard about the latest snow dump!
DeleteOur whole neighbourhood here in this village is just like Julius. They are all coming out of the woodwork after the winter, just like ladybugs.
ReplyDeleteWe have ladybugs emerging in our house too!!! (Those Asian laduybugs that overwinter inside.)
DeleteOh, I so hope there's no more snow when you get back!
ReplyDeleteI hope not but they got another 6" yesterday!
DeleteBrrrrrrrrrr! Winter is taking its time in your neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteJanet
No kidding! Glad we have been able to escape for awhile!
DeleteSafe travels and hoping Spring will await you upon your return--beautiful cat, but then, I bet he knows it, XOXO
ReplyDeleteHe is quite the little lion!
DeleteSure hope the snow is gone when you come back from your trip to Sri Lanka !
ReplyDeleteHere in soutwest parts of Sweden we have had sunny and + 15 - +18 C this weekend :)
XOXO
Those are lovely temperatures!!
DeleteMerci, Sean!
ReplyDeleteOh Julius, you gorgeous kitty........I'm sure you'd be good friends with my Tigger. You both have the same white tip on the end of your tail.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you're thoroughly sick of Winter with those temps. We're still having 28 + deg. here, which is quite warm for this time of year!! But we've had lovely rain which is great.
