Oh how I amuse myself!

The other day, I left this box on the table. It was soon filled up with a three-legged cat.

Then I decided to grab a marker and have some fun!

Look what we have here!

Hello Naomi!

A rabid cat! A highly unamused rabid cat. Bwaahahahaha! She was still there when Gordon got home from work. He thought it was hiiiilarious.

And the guineas have started laying!  I still don't know who's a girl and who's boy, or if there are any boys, but there is a definitely a girl...

It's a teeny-tiny beginner egg!

We got one yesterday, too.

Duck egg, chicken egg, guinea egg.

Everyone seems happy down there.

Post-bath duckling!

Tasting!

Squeeeeee!

  4. If I left a box that big out - I'd have all three cats in it at once!

  6. Yes, our house is decorated with empty boxes here and there also. The cats love them and we haven't the heart to throw them out. (Sometimes we do though... before company comes)

Love the different sized eggs! Do they taste different?

And always love those cute ducks...

    1. THe ones I tried before didn't taste too different to me, but I need to cook up my own and do a real comparison!

  8. So, how long will the box remain there? You can't let a rabid cat just wander around without a hide-hole.

    1. WEll, it's still there. I took it off, Gordon put it back. It's August 20th. I think it's looking a little redneck... ;)

  9. What a lovely speckled egg. Do guinea eggs taste different from chicken eggs?

    1. I haven't had any of ours yet, but I had them at the farmers' market awhile back (fried) and thought they were just like chicken eggs. Pretty little things!

  10. Your "rabid" cat is awfully sedentary. She must really love being left to her own devices in a special box.

  11. What cute eggs! So exciting that you got a guinea egg. I love ours - they taste so delicious! If you listen to your guineas, that's the easiest way to tell which are females (they say "buckwheat") or males (they say "chi chi chi"). I guess you know you've got at least one female!

    1. I think they may all be females. I'm still working on it! :)
