The blue tarps make me think leaky condos in Vancouver but the background is too flat so it must be Toronto, but the water towers? make me think Winnipeg. How long do we have to wait to find out?
Karyn, it's New York City! :)
Well, I'm slow. I don't know where this is. But I am curious about what looks like huge water tanks in the buildings.
Red, in fact they are water tanks, and I find them fascinating too!http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/18/nyregion/for-3-families-wooden-water-tanks-are-in-the-blood.html?_r=0
Oh, how I do pity you, wherever you are.
:)) It's okay, Sean, we're having fun!
The bees would be so lost in that jungle...I don't see one flower anywhere. Toronto is much greener than this from the air.
Claude, I found bees here!http://www.thehighline.org/
This is a fantastic place! I didn't know about this.
I loved it, Claude!
I was going to suggest Gulag 43, but now that you've given the game away, I can see that I was right!
Gulag 43 with great food!
It's not a farm. It's a city.... NY City :)
Ding ding ding! You are correct!
I grew up with two of those water tanks on top of our 24-story apartment building in NY. Never gave them a second thought. I love seeing things through other eyes. Hope you're having a ball!
I still think they are the coolest things! Very retro. :)
New York City. I wouldn't want to live there but it is a fabulous place to visit, so much to see and do. Have fun! Sheri
I'm with you! Great place to visit, but three nights was plenty. Back to my dull, quiet life. :)
Since I am a couple of day´s late I now know it´s The Big Apple NY :)
Thank you for all your comments, which I love to read!
