For Valentine's Day, I needle-felted a very unrealistic bee and glued it to a card for Gordon. Inside it read "Bee Mine?" I'm sure you all get THAT completely obvious pun!
I also made him chicken tortilla soup.
Meanwhile, the kitty lovebirds kept busy obsessing over chickadees and other feathered friends...
True love!
Alex (tripod kitty on right) is now spending his every waking moment in my office, staring out the window at the birds. It's like he just found the best peep show in town!
Chicken tortilla soup? I am intrigued.
ReplyDeleteGreat card. Love the cutie bee.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Both your card and your entranced cats.
ReplyDeleteYou're cleverness never ceases to amaze me! Bee-yoo-ti-ful!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the way Alex's tail is gently embracing Naomi. *sigh*
That is a cute crd.
ReplyDeleteThe cats certainly don't need the idiot box for entertainment!
If that is the tortilla soup that you scanned and e-mailed to me a couple years ago, great choice!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little bee.
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome couple!
ReplyDelete(Cute bee too1)
Awww, I think your felt heart is adorable! What a sweet idea.
ReplyDeleteI like your bee! your kitty's are cute...mine are waiting for the birds to come back so they can do the same...pretty soon spring will be here I keep telling them. :o)
ReplyDeleteElisabeth, I need to dig out a recipe, but it's a very traditional Mexican dish. Google it and you'll find lots. YUM!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ronna!
CogDis, glad you enjoyed mah cuties.
TTPT, I am working on the needle-felting. I want to do more detailed work. And Alex is very protective of his girlfriend. :)
Jams, I do have a DVD for cats that is a film of birds and other such creatures. I want to try it out on the new flat screen TV. It should drive the cats mad.
HWB, as I recall you made that very well and brought us some!
LBM, Wandering Cat and Farmgirl, thank you! :)
Jennifer, cats do looooove birds, don't they?
Love the card and the photos of the cats!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Paula! Always nice to see you here.
