The French language edition of Gordon's book is about to be released by Éditions Yvon Blais, in hardcover no less! By all reports the professional translator, Renée Lebeuf, did an excellent job. Gordon really enjoyed working with her.
Le manuel juridique de l'enquêteur, known in English as The Investigator's Legal Handbook, makes great bedtime reading for investigators and enforcement officers everywhere. You could also keep it on your night-table and use it to whack intruders over the head, it's so heavy.
Congratulations, hubby, and it was exceptionally sweet of you to dedicate the book to moi.

Congratulations Gordon!
ReplyDeleteI like your idea, Knatolee, to going "Aline Chretien" with the book in case of intruders!
Congrats Gordon.
ReplyDeleteHope it will become a bestseller.
Félicitations Gordon! I bet Hercules Poirot would have loved to have your book on hand. It will probably become le livre de références of all French speaking Public and P.I.s
ReplyDeleteGood old Gordini! He sure is evil news for the bad guys!
ReplyDeleteAnd Knattee's name will now officially be enshrined TWICE in the Library of Congress!
Congrats Gordon.
ReplyDeleteIs there a section on how to investigate why more restaurants don't have step stools in bathrooms?
Inquiring mind wants to know.
Gordon is lovin' all the kudos! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd James, there is not such a section, but I will make sure it is included in the second edition!
