That's not a bird...

...in my birdfeeder. I'll give you a hint. One of these was the star of "Ratatouille":






(I really need to get the screen out of my office window for winter, so I can take some decent bird photos!)

    It's a RAT?! i swear to god i didn't know! It's hard to see and i didn't know the movie although apparently it doesn't take too big of a leap to know it's about rats...a rat? OK well one just never knows.

    :) now I know! a rat huh? personally I thought all the rats were in urban areas where there are more rat opportunities.

  4. Country rats are cuter than their city cousins! And hopefully less of a disease vector. :) He was back today. I just lump in him with the chipmunks and squirrels!

    Rats like the country because of all the grain, feed, etc. stored on farms. Or because of city-slickers who move here and feed them gourmet birdseed!
