Let me just say it's a damn good thing this happened BEFORE we had the floors refinished (which we are in the process of doing!)
POOR TRISTAN! Archie and Mimi were tussling in the kitchen sink this morning and somebody managed to kick out a knife, which somersaulted through the air and landed here...
Of course, I had to grab my camera. The poor dog!
Accident or assassination attempt? You be the judge!
And last night I made chili in the slower cooker. After we took out the insert, Daisy snuck in and made herself comfy...
I'm pretty sure the cats have now taken over and we're just here at their mercy!
Have a great weekend.
Honey gives new meaning to the term "Honey Pot"!
ReplyDeleteAnd .... cats are the world's most adorable serial killers.... don't trust them.
NO kidding!! This was outrageous!
DeleteAlways something exciting going on when there are multiple cats in a house!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
The fun never ends!
DeleteCats rule, dogs drool.
ReplyDelete(With apologies and a barrel of love to Tristan.)
I really need that on a sign or something!
DeleteLooks like you cooked Tur-kitty for Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteBahaha yes!!!
DeleteBwahahaha! It's like the board game "Clue." Instead of Colonel Mustard in the library with a candlestick, it was Archie and Mimi in the kitchen with a dinner knife!
ReplyDeleteYou solved it! And oh look, your comments are coming through again. Hooray!!!!
DeleteLaughing so hard! I love cats!!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, we were laughing too. We were sitting there as it happened... unbelievable!
DeleteTristan's revenge.... wait till the cat sleeps and nudge on the slow cooker switch with your nose lad.
ReplyDelete...or if it is not electric just pull it over the edge.
DeleteI will be sure to share your good advice with the poor dog!!
DeleteDaisy's lucky she didn't accidentally turn the power on!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm laughing at that knife! Glad no living thing was in the way when that hit!
ReplyDeleteCute kitty in the pot...I know mine would have done the same thing!
The poor dog!!!
Deleteyour photos quite often make me laugh...and laugh...like the kitty in the slow cooker...
ReplyDeleteI must admit, the cats crack me up on a daily basis. They are always doing SOMETHING worth photographing!
DeleteOne thing our cat has never done is jump up on the counters . Kitty in the pot how cute lol ! Glad the kerfuffle didn't hurt any one ! Cute pics. Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteSigh... i managed to keep the cats off the counters until I hit six... Now I just lock them out of the kitchen if they are being annoying!
DeleteGoodness; maybe dogs have nine lives too!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope so!!
DeleteOh my goodness! You're right, I too think the kitties have taken over. Your pictures are always amazing.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :) And you are right about the cats!
DeleteYour animals are definitely in charge. Daisy in the slow cooker made me laugh. She needs to take care with her curiosity.
ReplyDeleteShe does indeed!!
DeleteYes, the cats have taken over and you'd better invest in a helmet for the poor dog!
ReplyDeleteAnd a suit of armour!
DeleteTristan is looking really nonchalant about the whole affair!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Daisy is enjoying the residual heat :-)
I think Tristan has seen it all at this point! :)
DeletePhew that was a close call for Tristan. I'm not sure it was entirely an accident. :)
ReplyDeleteFunny Daisy! She apparently loves the heat.
I'm not sure it was an accident either!
DeletePets just add so much drama and intrigue to our lives!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right!
Deleteif not for sits, then why iz it made of warms
ReplyDeleteTHAT was no accident. I'm so glad our cats are trained to never go up on the kitchen counters ... except when we're not looking.
