The annual season of "drowning in honey" has begun!
This is just the tip of the iceberg. I have 26 honey supers sitting on my hives that need to be taken off by month's end, plus five drying in my garage, plus I still have a couple of five-gallon buckets to bottle.
This batch is delicious! Mostly basswood with some dandelion. SO DAMN GOOD!
And speaking of sweet, look at the beautiful painting my friend Joan from God's Little People made for me:
I just love it!! Thank you Joan.
And here are some sweet kitties...
Lovely Missy!
Buttercup watching Emerson play with Honey
Honey stalking her sister Buttercup. HONEY! Tsk tsk!
Strictly play between two sisters.
They were having a blast!
Missy is more dignified!
And Honey finally got tired out.
Beautiful Annuk.
Lovely Buttercup.
And...
I'm not entirely sure what's going on between Gordon and this duckling! :)
Photo 8 is wonderful x

DeleteGreat action shots, Natalie. Even in this heat they play. Missy reminds me a lot of our Annie. Quite dignified. Gordon quacks me up. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, she is like Annie! A little sweetie, too.

I have a couple of Jewish friends who have enjoyed my honey at Rosh Hashanah in particular! Shanah tovah! :)
DeleteIs there any way one can buy your honey online? And congratulations by the way to your new horse. He looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI can mail you some! The problem is the postage often costs more than the honey. :( But email me if you're interested!
