We've had a very mild autumn this year. At the end of October, I took the dogs for a walk and found a little spray of goldenrod still blooming on the border of the back fields. Every bug in the area seemed to be on it!
The moth prepares for take-off!
Hmmm... not sure what this little guy is!
Here's the Spotted Cucumber Beetle again. They eat all kinds of crops and plants you'd rather they didn't, but I still think they're kind of cute!
Spotted Cucumber Beetle bum.
And look, dandelions blooming into November! Very weird.
With an iridescent green pollinator enjoying a meal! Maybe an Orchard Mason bee... does anyone know?
The temperatures have finally dropped and flowers will soon be a thing of the past, until next spring when it all starts up again.
