More pet follies...

Gordon made Naomi the box bed the night she arrived. She didn't used to fill it up! She likes it, but not as much as she likes the dog beds.

(Sophie is not wearing a collar because it's outside on the lawn, reeking of skunk.)

Bath time is any time!

Yes, they're still in love.

Our handsome three-legged guy! He is definitely losing weight, what with his diet and the daily "chase Naomi" workout.

Happy weekend... I need to get my garlic planted or it will be too late. Normally I find myself planting it in a snowstorm. Maybe this year I can avoid that!

  1. Great pictures! Naomi is growing like a weed! You plant garlic?

  2. I planted garlic! It is now in the ground, four varieties. You plant it in the fall here, and harvest in August/September! It is a bazillion times better than store-bought garlic!!! I planted shallots too. :)

  3. Cute pictures! We have at least 10 collars around the house, just in case ... We had a close skunk encounter the other day, but got lucky and NOT skunked. :o)

I'm hurrying to plant my garlic, too! Not because of snow but because of my own impatience. I've been working at clearing a thick patch of weeds in the garden to make room for the garlic. It's been so wet, hard to weed in mud.

  7. Shona, I guessed it was you! I planted my garlic yesterday because it was warm and dry, and rain was forecast for the next few days. I can't remember the last time I wasn't planting it while it was cold and snowy! Much better this way. :) You'll be glad you made the effort when you're harvesting your own delicious garlic next year!

Monika, I think we need ten collars too...
