Alex is feeling much better after his digestive tract upset of last week.
"It's about time you made me a proper breakfast, human!"
"Beat it, dog!"
For those not in the know, Alex is our tripod kitty. We adopted him from the SD&G OSPCA shelter I mentioned in yesterday's post, after he was found caught in a leghold trap in Cornwall. One amputation and six weeks later, he was ours. He now rules the house.
We all know Alex is really just a puppet ruler - Julius rules in truth...
ReplyDeleteHahahhaa! Too true!
DeleteGlad the kitty's appetite is back.
ReplyDeleteBelly,bigger,eyes. (complete the phrase)!
ReplyDeleteJane xx
My Mum was always saying that to me...
DeleteHappy to hear the Alex is himself again...big appetite and all!
ReplyDeleteHe was very restrained. If Emily had been there, she would have been sitting in the middle of that plate, chowing down.
DeleteThose are the most pleading dog eyes I have ever seen. Alex is a cool cat and I am so happy he is feeling better. Will he eat human food? Cooked?
ReplyDeleteALex would be quite happy to eat cooked human food! :)
DeleteYou make a much better breakfast for you cat than I do!
ReplyDeleteHee hee hee. To be fair, Gordon made that big breakfast for little old me!
DeleteWas the cause of his intestinal problems mayhap a bad curry? Glad he's feeling better!
ReplyDeleteYes, a "past-its-best-before-date" mouse curry!
DeleteI see your pets are looking at your breakfast the way I just did. Yum. Poor Alex! I absolutely HATE those legtraps. Maybe the trapper ought to know how that feels, if you know what I mean? Well, I'm glad Alex is over his intestinal illness!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more about the trapper. And that trap was set within city limits (not legal!. Lucky a child didn't wander into it!
DeleteYou forgot the damned bacon!
ReplyDeleteooops, my bad!
DeleteSo glad Alex has picked up. It's worrying when they're sick.
ReplyDeleteI think he was toying with me!!
DeleteHeheheheeh! Amazing faces!
ReplyDeleteFunny little creatures, aren't they?
DeleteI wouldn't dare to touch that breakfast!
ReplyDeleteYOu'll notice the dog is being very mindful of the cat!
DeleteYou really told that woffie to beat it *mol*
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Alex is feeling better!
