Alex is clearly feeling better

Alex is feeling much better after his digestive tract upset of last week.

"It's about time you made me a proper breakfast, human!"

"Beat it, dog!"

For those not in the know, Alex is our tripod kitty. We adopted him from the SD&G OSPCA shelter I mentioned in yesterday's post, after he was found caught in a leghold trap in Cornwall. One amputation and six weeks later, he was ours. He now rules the house.

    1. He was very restrained. If Emily had been there, she would have been sitting in the middle of that plate, chowing down.

  5. Those are the most pleading dog eyes I have ever seen. Alex is a cool cat and I am so happy he is feeling better. Will he eat human food? Cooked?

  8. I see your pets are looking at your breakfast the way I just did. Yum. Poor Alex! I absolutely HATE those legtraps. Maybe the trapper ought to know how that feels, if you know what I mean? Well, I'm glad Alex is over his intestinal illness!

    1. I couldn't agree more about the trapper. And that trap was set within city limits (not legal!. Lucky a child didn't wander into it!
