Kitty-cat assassination attempt!

Let me just say it's a damn good thing this happened BEFORE we had the floors refinished (which we are in the process of doing!)

POOR TRISTAN! Archie and Mimi were tussling in the kitchen sink this morning and somebody managed to kick out a knife, which somersaulted through the air and landed here...

Of course, I had to grab my camera.  The poor dog!

Accident or assassination attempt? You be the judge!

And last night I made chili in the slower cooker. After we took out the insert, Daisy snuck in and made herself comfy...

I'm pretty sure the cats have now taken over and we're just here at their mercy!

Have a great weekend.

  5. Bwahahaha! It's like the board game "Clue." Instead of Colonel Mustard in the library with a candlestick, it was Archie and Mimi in the kitchen with a dinner knife!

  14. Your animals are definitely in charge. Daisy in the slow cooker made me laugh. She needs to take care with her curiosity.

  15. Yes, the cats have taken over and you'd better invest in a helmet for the poor dog!

  16. Tristan is looking really nonchalant about the whole affair!!

It looks like Daisy is enjoying the residual heat :-)

  17. Phew that was a close call for Tristan. I'm not sure it was entirely an accident. :)

Funny Daisy! She apparently loves the heat.

  20. THAT was no accident. I'm so glad our cats are trained to never go up on the kitchen counters ... except when we're not looking.
