The podcast of my interview with CBC Ontario Morning is up!! I spoke to Wei Chen at 6:40-ish this morning and it was a ton of fun. I'm the first segment on the podcast.

  1. I just listened to the podcast, had missed it this AM. It was good! I'm not a fan of Wei Chen at all, but she was okay for this interview and you did an awesome job with it, I thought. Good plug for the shelter too. :-)

    Peace.

  9. I think you sounded great! It was a bit odd for me though...I think the only time I've heard your voice is in your videos when you're talking baby talk at the animals! Totally different!

  11. Oh,Natalie, you did great on your interview. I wish I could introduce you to my daughter who wound up running a rescue farm exactly the way it happened to you. She did a CBC radio interview when they heard she was rescuing battery hens and partnering with a local Children's Aid group home for boys. It was a great success with the boys learning how to heal and nurture the chickens and, in turn, the chickens helped heal the boys. When my daughter was seriously ill, the group home boys talked the counsellors into sneaking them into the barn in the middle of the night to do all the chores. They wanted to help the woman they had dubbed."Mrs. Awesome".

  12. I am so glad I checked this podcast out. I feel like I have caught up with your blogging. I haven't felt like blogging since my husband got sick and then died at Christmas. I am not sure I will get back to doing it as with no travelling in an RV I won't have much to write about. I used to love to write but the urge has not come back yet. It is still a struggle to get through each day. I am trying to sell my house and do all the paperwork that needs to be done after a death.
