Next week, it's our 20th wedding anniversary. How the hell did that happen?? Anyway, as a gift, Gordon got me a new Nikon D7100 DSLR to replace my aged D70. I got a new wide-angle lens too. I couldn't be happier!
I tried it out on Emily last night...
It came with a 355-page manual. Let's see if I can get through that!
Miss Princess was enjoying her beauty snooze on the couch as we watched Breaking Bad on DVD.
She rules the house now, in case you didn't know!
Happy little kitty!
Pensive moment. Or maybe she's plotting something!
And a little grooming before returning to her nap!
But we can't forget the old guy, Julius. Emily is always hissing and yowling at him. He just ignores her!
And here's MY old guy...
...well, actually he's four years younger than me! :) Thank you for my beautiful gift, Gordon!
oxoxo
Happy anniversary to you both. And I look forward to more and more of your marvelous photos. You've almost (almost) turned me into a cat lover.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary!
ReplyDelete"Happy Anniversary and many more, you two". Enjoy your weekend celebrating. That first pic of Emily is amazing. What a model she makes. I'm still raving about your honey. I am such an oinker...half way through the first bottle. That stuff goes good on everything.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary for next week!!
ReplyDeleteEmily is a such a beauty...all grown up...and give Julius a big smoochy kiss from me!

Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteWow. If those first shots are anything to go by, can't wait to see what you produce when you get the hang of it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to you both. Jx
Cute photos of the cats and human :) Congrats on 20 years of wedded bliss and your new camera!
ReplyDeleteYou have done your new camera justice with those fun photos!
ReplyDeleteEmily has got to be the most gorgeous little pussy-cat that ever lived. Indeed the Noble Don QuiScottie does now bestow that official title on her, for use through all QuiScottieland and in the provinces and colonies beyond. Arise Lady Emily M.G.L.PC.T.E.L.
ReplyDeleteAnd 20 years? The Don and his Dulcinea reach 36 years in August. You and your man are still in the Honeymoon Stage (akthough so are the Don and his Dulcinea... on a good day)
ReplyDeleteI think you might be spoiled! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, happy anniversary. Time goes by when you're having fun! The next twenty will go by faster!
ReplyDeleteOf course Miss Emily had to be the first one to be photographed with the new camera :)
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
Congratulations to you both on your anniversary.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky girl you are to have such a fun present :-)
Beautiful shots! You've certainly mastered the new camera.
