Guest kitties

Our friends Willie and Sue have two cats, Herman and Dutch. Dutch was adopted from the Lanark Animals Welfare Society after being there for an entire year. He weighs 18 pounds and is one big happy cat. Here he is in the sink, staring up at his buddy Herman...

Aren't they a pair of cuties?

Willie admired our "Super Catnip Crazy Cat Tunnel Pants" (remember the "Fun in Pants" video?), so I had a pair sent to them as a surprise.

Apparently the pants were a hit with Herman and Dutch!

Although Dutch (right) looks like he might be stuck in that pant leg!

I think Sue may have had to perform an extraction!

And yes, after two years I designed a new header. It's still Knatolee's World, not to worry.

Have a groovy weekend!

  1. Love the header. It's fun to change it up, right.
I LOVE DUTCH. So wonderful to see him happy and still roly-poly. What a cute pair. It's a mad-house up there right now. kittens coming in, pregnant cats...oh lordy! I wish the message would not fall on deaf ear here. I absolutely hate it. Anyway, have a good weekend. Hugs

    1. Dutch is doing great, Deb. He and Herman are both really nice kitties!

Sad that people never learn to spay their cats. So many kittens, so many unwanted cats. I wish we could find homes for them all. I'm glad you are there to help.

  5. Nat, I love the new header and new blog look! Although the light brown writing is kinda hard to read... I recently updated my blog, it took me a bit to create a new header.

  6. Love the new header, and the best friends. My 18 pounder Duncan thinks that Dutch is a fine figure of a cat.

    1. THat they are! Their nicknames are Double-wide and Rough-rider. I think. I always screw up the second one and WIllie has to correct me!

    1. He must be SO happy to be out of the shelter! It's a good shelter but all kitties deserve a forever home. :)

What is it with cats and sinks? One of my cats is sleeping in my bathroom sink right now. She started hanging out there about a week ago. I have to use the other bathroom so as not to disturb Her Royal Highness. :)

    1. I get that they like tight little spaces, but sinks are usually cold and cats are seekers of warmth, so I don't understand it either!

You're a good woman for not disturbing HRH!
