They are little hooligans! We've had red squirrels get into the attic or walls of three of the houses we've owned, including this one. Fortunately the wildlife removal people can install one-way exits and seal up entry points. They are little characters! (The squirrels, not the wildlife guys!)
I see two squirrels circling down our big oak tree every morning, then racing around the yard like that before going back up the tree. I so hope it's all for fun and exercise and not a love ritual. We have too darned many already!
I wonder what's going on myself. SPring is coming, so maybe more skvurlz on the way? We definitely do NOT need more!!! I hope yours are just getting fit!
Squirrels can certainly get silly. We only have red squirrels here but that's enough.
ReplyDeleteWe have occasionally had a grey squirrel, but the reds always seem to chase them out of town!
DeleteRed I envy you. It's only grey squirrels here in London. THe only time I ever saw a red one was outside St Petersburg!
