Honoured, honoured I tell you!

I love living in a rural area. Hubby doing a talk at the Historical Society meeting merits a big old ad in the Glengarry News. The fame! The fortune! Okay, maybe not fame.

As a dutiful wife, I plan to attend.

Speaking of the bearded one, we counted and Gordon has FIFTEEN DAYS of work left before he leaves his government job! (Followed by five weeks of paid holiday, which he'll use to prepare his law practice.) Woo hoo!

  1. I may have to take in a flask of alcohol to keep myself amused. Oops. Hope Gordon isn't reading this!

  3. He must be so happy. It's a big decision but once you've made it...yippee! Can't think of a better place to call 'the office' than your beautiful farm home. "Good Luck, Gordon"

  4. Go, Gordon Go!
Ah...all the places you will go, now that the Government job is an old show.
Nothing like being your own boss. You will love it!

A flask of alcohol makes everything more enjoyable, even a riveting historical presentation. Think of it as an enhancement to something already beautiful ... like a dab of lip gloss. ; )

  6. Hoping the transition for Gordon goes very smoothly (so excited for you two) and hoping you didn't need that flask after all! :)

  7. You will all be happy to know that I made it through the talk without falling asleep or resorting to drink.

I'm just teasing; he is really a very good speaker!
