Katie won silver!

More shameless self-promotion... Katie of the Sonoran Desert / Katie del Desierto Sonorense won the silver medal in the "Multicultural N-F Juv-Teen-YA" category of the Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPYS). I am really happy! Now how I can I wangle a trip to NYC for the awards ceremony on May 25th? :) I need to schmooze and get more book-illustrating work.
