Unfortunately, I lean towards Alpacas because I HATE picking guard hairs out of my fiber before spinning it. Even the finest Llama has guard hairs. Gelding alpacas often have softer fleece, as their hormones are "stunted". You may also want to consider a sheep or two, a couple of corridale maybe?
