You knit WHAT?

My friend Phyllis D. just finished knitting... a womb!



Didn't she do a wonderful job? And I might add that she used yarn left over from a beautiful sweater she knit me in 2000. If you would like to knit a womb, the instructions are on knitty.com:

I'm not sure what I'd do with a knitted womb. Perhaps knit a winkie to go with it? Nah, I think I'll just stick to socks, scarves and cardigans.

Eruption of cuteness

We've had an eruption of cuteness in the garden lately, what with it being spring and the birds and bees making like, well, the birds and the bees. I share with you this adorable specimen, also found sitting on our car roof rack:



Okay, enough cuteness!! Time for some more rudeness, something along the lines of those Madison plumbers' cracks. Can't disappoint my invisible audience.
